Hybrid Round Table on Occasion of the First International Migration Review Forum in New York

The Hybrid Round Table on the occasion of the first International Migration Review Forum focused on the role of interregional partnerships within civil societies and took a closer look on the opportunities and specific challenges African and European civil society actors face when addressing their demands at the interregional level.

It was an opportunity to identify the potentials and challenges in the cooperation and discuss ways these stakeholders can enhance joint action – not only among themselves but with their respective state and regional counterparts – to address the objectives of the Global Compact for Migration (GCM) more effectively.
